The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, Creative Europe Desk Latvia would like to invite you to attend to the International matchmaking seminar “Creative Dialog” 22nd-23rd November, 2017, Riga.

CONTEXT
Creative Dialog aims to enable synergies between Creative Europe Programme 2014-2020 and European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA) as a means to achieve further cooperation between experienced cultural operators and newcomers. The ambition of the seminar is to strengthen already formed cooperation between interstate EEA partners and foster new partnerships in the framework of the Creative Europe Programme and EEA financial mechanism.

PURPOSE
In order to support new project partnerships, the participants of the event will get a better understanding of the Creative Europe Programme’s funding opportunities and priorities, application process and criteria and of the new period of EEA financial mechanism. Participants will take part in an application preparing workshop considering their own ideas of possible projects while going through all phases of the project span.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The event is addressed to experienced EEA and Creative Europe project implementers and recommended for newcomers such as culture sector workers and project managers coming from an organization or institution interested in developing international cooperation with funding from the Creative Europe Programme and EEA.

One participant per organization is expected to attend (total number of participants is limited). The working language of the seminar is English. Under certain limits participants from the EEA partnership donor* and beneficiary** countries (excluding participants from Latvia) will be able to apply for an international travel and accommodation expense reimbursement.

REGISTRATION
Those interested in applying should fill a registration.

A selection of participants will be made by the experts from the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Latvia taking into consideration the profiles and interests of the applicants.

Deadline for applying: November 3, 2017.
